LETTER TO PARENTS
Fourth grade is an exciting year children grow as learners and become more independent. I am looking forward to our year ahead. I am here for you and your child and I look forward to working with you through the school year.I hope that you find fourth grade is a positive experience for your child as they develop as a student.
Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Julie "Sam" Millar and I am a 4th grade teacher at Cleveland Elementary School. I completed my elementary education degree at the University of Sioux Falls. I have four children, Whitney, Joe, Morgan, and Phillip. Whitney is a second grade teacher at Holy Spirit Catholic School in Sioux Falls, Joe is an Advertising Consultant at Midco, Morgan is a fitness instructor, and Phillip just started his Masters of Accounting at the University of South Dakota. I love NCAA basketball (Duke Blue Devils), Indianapolis Colts, attending sporting events, hanging out with my kids, and reading.
To start our year, I have created a classroom website. This website contains information that will make our journey through fourth grade a success.
